Operation Christmas Child

Packing Party – November 23rd

Send Off November 24th

We would like to exceed the number of boxes we sent last year, so in effort to make it easier to participate, we purchased boxes.  Also new this year, we will be having a “Packing Party” at 2:00 p.m. on November 23rd – a fun time to pack the boxes together.  To that end, we will start collecting “gifts” (see list following) this month.  Please bring to worship any new items that you may buy in your everyday shopping. We will find a good use for them.  There will be a box in the Nave and office to drop things off.  The earlier we start this process, the more boxes we’ll be able to provide.  Prayers are always welcome.
See Linda Oehme for details and how to help at 336-7716 or any Sunday after church.

How can you help?

BRING items to church to use in the group “Packing Party.” (See above.)
PACK YOUR OWN BOX
We have Operation Christmas Child boxes available for you to use.
Choose the age (2-4, 5-9, or 10-14) and gender of the child who will receive your box.
Fill the box with gifts. (See suggestions following.)
Include a $7 donation to help cover shipping costs.
Bring the box to worship on Sunday, November 24th for the blessing and a special send off.  If you prefer, you can drop off your boxes during church office hours any day of the week before November 24th.  (Boxes will leave the church during the service.)
